My buds and I like to go roughing it on the Bogue Chitto
River and Magee's Creek located in rural
Mississippi.
Besides the occasional tubing and canoeing debauchery, our favorite is to
go "night canoeing," where we put in at about six at night and paddle to
our campsight in the peaceful pitch black. Quite scary - we're usually a
little loaded and I hate bugs, which makes for an interesting
combination.
Remember, you can usually click on the thumbnails to get the full-sized pictures.

When there's a trip involved, these two fools are always there.

Cookin' up the steaks in our crude fire (not to
mention that our utensils consisted of a hammer and tongs.). I was a
little loaded at the time so excuse the fact that I am actually
standing IN the fire with my bare feet. They call me "leatherfoot" now.

Taking it easy as the sun comes up. I think I'm giggling like the village idiot
for a valid reason, although I can't quite remember what it is.

In front of a mud wall where somebody carved DTD (our frat) a couple of
years earlier - and it's still there.
