High School
I received my 8th-12th grade education at
Jesuit High School in
New Orleans, and graduated in 1989. Those times certainly were a blur. Growing up in
New Orleans wasn't all that easy
(I'm now just starting to realize this), and I'm actually
quite lucky I made it through alive. I could legally drive (by myself) when I was
15, and legally drink when I was 18. Needless to say, my buddies and I jumped the
gun a little bit on some things. New Orleans was an 18 year ongoing party for me.
Actually, it was just prep for LSU (known to Louisiana natives as "The
Thirteenth Grade.") But that's for another page...
Remember, you can usually click on the thumbnails to get the full-sized pictures.

Man. What nerds we were.

This was the car I was lucky enough to have for a total of 3 weeks.

My first rock and roll band, Kahuna,
and my first gig. I started playing guitar when I was in the hospital after the car wreck
because I couldn't do a whole lot else. There's a page now dedicated
to this wonderful little high school band, so check it out.
If you want to see what I've been doing lately on guitar (and a whole
bunch more pics), go see my band
Cousin It's website.

Where'd our dates go ?!?!?!?!!????

Just your average dance picture. The only thing that's
notable (but thankfully not noticeable!) is that I am wearing some... ummm...
"prosthetics..." because of my wreck.

Just proving again how big of nerds we were. We're doing
the "stoic" pose and wearing Wayfarers and black shark skin cowboy boots.

Here it is - the big finale. Senior prom. I, again, am dressed
like a buffoon. I wore my good ol' K-Swiss Classics and a gold foil tie and
cumberbun.

My parents' Oh, I was such the hippie then. What the hell
is that with the peace sign? This is high school graduation day. Check out
the custom van - a true sign of the '80s.
